Financial mis-selling

If you have taken out a loan, credit card or mortgage within the past 15 years, then there is a good chance you may have paid for Payment Protection Insurance, more commonly known as PPI. Many of these policies, which were designed to help those in financial difficulties make their monthly loan repayments in the event of accidents, periods of sickness and unemployment, were mis-sold.

In many cases we have seen that brokers, and sales advisors at the banks, have given you incorrect advice so that you would take out PPI. They often did this, and mis-sold PPI to you, because they made money from you in the form of commission, not because it was suitable for you. So, how could I have been mis-sold PPI on my loan?

  • If you did not want it
  • You were told you must have it
  • If it was unsuitable for you
  • You would have been ineligible to claim on it
  • The policy was added without your knowledge
  • Often if you were self-employed
  • You worked in the Armed Forces, NHS, Police, or as a Civil Servant

The above list names a few, however, there are many more ways in which you could have been Mis-sold PPI.

We can assist you right from the start, investigating if you have ever paid PPI, drafting your claim to the creditor, or the Financial Ombudsman Service, if we need to at a later stage. We work on a ‘No Win No Fee’ basis, so if we do all the work above, but don’t manage to get your PPI back, then you will not pay us a penny. Put simply, you have nothing to lose by instructing us.
