Family awarded compensation after suffering gastroenteritis at Alexander the Great Hotel in Zante

JPS Walker have successfully recovered damages for a family of 3 after they were struck down with food poisoning during their stay at Alexander the Great Hotel in Zante, Greece.

They travelled for their annual summer holiday in August 2017 and when they arrived at the hotel, they were shocked that the food served to them was always cold, the food was left out for a long time and the pool was filthy. Two days into the holiday they were stuck down with severe diarrhoea and vomiting which ruined the rest of the holiday.

The family are positive that their holiday illness was the result of poor hygiene standards at Alexander the Great Hotel.

Holidaymakers have taken to TripAdvisor to complain about illness and poor food at the hotel.  There are multiple reviews reporting undercooked, pink or raw chicken being served.
